# Privacy Policy for Pallas Offline LLM Chat App

Pallas ("the App") is an offline AI chat application designed to operate entirely on your device. We prioritize your privacy and do not collect, store, or transmit personal data, conversations, or usage content. This policy explains how we handle minimal diagnostic data through third-party services.

#### 2. Data Collection

The App **does not**:

- Record, store, or transmit your chat conversations.
- Require user accounts, logins, or personal information.
- Access contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers.

**Minimal exceptions**:

- **Crash Reports & Analytics**:  
  We use [Sentry](https://sentry.io/privacy/) (a third-party service) to collect:
  - Anonymous crash reports (e.g., app errors, stack traces).
  - Basic usage analytics (e.g., session duration, feature usage frequency).
  - Non-personal device data (e.g., OS version, device model).  
    _No user-generated content or identifiers are included._

#### 3. Data Usage

Collected data is used **exclusively** to:

- Diagnose and fix app crashes.
- Improve app performance and stability.
- Understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., "Feature X was used 100 times").

#### 4. Data Storage & Sharing

- **All chat data** remains on your device and is never transmitted.
- Crash/analytics data sent to Sentry is:
  - Anonymous and non-identifiable.

  - Not shared with advertisers, governments, or other third parties.

#### 5. Offline Operation

The App's core functionality (AI chat) requires **no internet connection**. Data is processed locally on your device.
